In March 2006, BONED were invited to play the Royal Albert Hall by Cookie Vance, in memory of her late husband Tommy. The band duly obliged by turning in a stellar performance alongside Ian Gillan & Friends, Scorpions and Judas Priest! They feel very privileged to have been part of this momentous occasion and receive these comments following the gig:
BONED were the very last band that Tommy enthused over before his untimely death in 2005. He loved their raw energy and irreverence and played their music constantly. It was fitting that they were the opening act on our tribute night in March 2006 at the Royal Albert Hall in honour of Tommy. They blew the cobwebs off the Albert Hall right from the start and set the tone for what turned out to be one of the best nights the Teenage Cancer Trust had ever had. It was wonderful for us that they were able to step up to the plate and perform on what was a truly memorable night for us all. Thanks BONED!
